Day one of the one-off Test against Australia kicked off with a bang, but it quickly turned into a damp squib for India fans. Complaints came flying in faster than a jaffa bowled by a quick, with supporters slamming the so-called arrangements as nothing short of a village setup. Basic needs? More like basic disasters!
Fans were left reeling as they navigated through the day, with inadequate facilities and lacklustre organisation. It’s a shame to see such a brilliant format overshadowed by what can only be described as a complete joke. If we expect the players to perform like champions, we need to treat them like one and create a proper environment.
The women's game deserves better, and fans are right to demand a step up. Here’s hoping the organisers wake up and sort their act out before the next day of play. We need this series to thrive, not flop!
