West Indies' T20 World Cup Exit: Stranded for Nine Days!

CWI's travel blunders put ICC in an awkward spotlight. What a farce!

So, the West Indies have finally managed to fly out of India, nine days after crashing out of the T20 World Cup. Yep, you read that right! Stranded longer than a domestic player waiting for a lift home, the boys in maroon were left twiddling their thumbs while Cricket West Indies scrambled to sort out commercial flights. Talk about a shambles!

This whole saga has thrown the spotlight on Cricket West Indies and the ICC like a pie chucker in the final over. Their third statement was like trying to put out a fire with a water pistol. The optics are terrible, and it raises serious questions about the planning (or lack thereof) for international events.

Fans are left wondering how a cricketing powerhouse like the West Indies ended up in this mess. Surely, you’d expect better from an organisation with such a rich history! Let’s hope they sort their act out before the next big tournament, or it might just get even messier.

As the dust settles, we can only anticipate what’s next for the Windies. Will they bounce back, or are they destined for more drama?
