Despite a rough patch, Rajasthan Royals' coach believes Parag will bounce back.
Riyan Parag is having a season to forget in IPL 2026, with just 61 runs in six matches at a dismal average of 12.20. His latest outing saw him bowled for 12 runs off 14 balls by Kolkata Knight Riders' Varun Chakaravarthy, leaving fans wondering if he can regain his form.
But not all is doom and gloom. Rajasthan Royals' assistant coach Vikram Rathour has come to Parag's defence, highlighting that every player goes through rough patches. He reminded us that Parag is still shaking off the rust after an injury and needs time to adapt to the pressures of the IPL.
Rathour stated, "It is just a matter of time. He has a lot of potential and will win us games when he finds his form." With the Royals facing back-to-back defeats after a strong start, they'll be hoping Parag finds his groove against Lucknow Super Giants on April 22. Can he turn things around?
The Royals desperately need a bounce-back win, and all eyes will be on Parag to see if he can deliver in the crucial clash ahead.
