Nuwan Thushara is making waves, and not just on the pitch! The Sri Lankan fast bowler has turned to the Colombo District Court in a bid to secure a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) for his much-anticipated IPL 2026 stint with Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
The SLC has been playing hardball, insisting on fitness assessments for players recovering from injuries before issuing NOCs. Thushara, who’s been sidelined previously, is determined to show he’s fit and ready to unleash his pace in the IPL.
